Tango Music
Tango Orchestras
Listening to tango music and becoming familiar with the different orchestras is a big part of learning tango. Honestly, just playing tango music and dancing around your house by yourself can really improve your dancing by helping you to really feel and hear the music. I didn't have a partner the first few years I was learning tango, and I would do this all the time. I think it really helped with my dancing. Lead or follow, you don't even have to be doing tango moves, just walking and playing around.
If you do not have any tango music of your own, you can use Pandora or Spotify to listen to a large selection of tango music. Enter in any of these orchestras and enjoy: Carlos Di Sarli, Juan D'Arienzo, Edgardo Donato, Enrique Rodriguez, Ricardo Tanturi, Miguel Caló, Rodolfo Biagi, Osvaldo Pugliese, Gotan Project, Romantica Milonguera.
